Greener Pastures
Choosing the Way

With so many paths to take and mountains to climb in life, how can we ever be sure which one to choose? How can we know we won’t end up on a road that leads to a dead end—stealing years we can never get back?
Sometimes, the weight of all these choices leaves us frozen—staring ahead with fear and uncertainty, unsure of where to go. Or we pick a direction and just hope it won’t lead to disappointment.
So what are we supposed to do? Where should we go? And how can we know it's the right way?
Many people say we just need to take a leap of faith—choose a path, give it a try, and if it doesn’t work out, pick another. But the danger in that mindset is this: you can spend years walking the wrong road before realizing it was never the right one. And by then, the idea of starting over feels overwhelming. So instead of turning back, most people just settle.
Worse yet, you might not get the chance to start over. You could die still walking the wrong path.
The truth is, we’ve been looking in the wrong direction. Life isn’t about picking from a hundred mountains or endless roads—it’s about looking to Christ. He’s not one option among many. He is the Way. He knows where the green pastures are. He is our Shepherd, our Guide, the only one who can lead us into the life we were created to live.

Jesus is greater than every mountain, every path, and everything this world offers.
He is our highest peak, our truest path, and our only salvation.
