"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being."

Why We Exist
Part 1

In the Beginning

Before anything was created, there was only God—nothing more, nothing less.

God, eternal and complete in Himself: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three in one, perfectly united.

He is Spirit—holy, pure, radiant with absolute light. He is truth itself: all-knowing, all-powerful, lacking nothing. There is no flaw in Him, no shadow, no imperfection.

Because God is utterly perfect, He cannot dwell with impurity or sin.

Anything unclean that enters His presence is consumed by the brilliance of His holiness—overwhelmed and undone by the sheer intensity of His light.

Jesus, the Son, is the visible image of the invisible God—God in the flesh. He is the true Vine, our living connection to the Father, making it possible for humanity to stand in the presence of God’s glory.

The Holy Spirit is the one who brings us to life. He dwells within us, connecting our hearts to God and enabling us to bear His fruit—the evidence of true life. Through the Spirit, we are made alive, eternally united with God.

God is three in one—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—glorious and radiant in perfect light. He is self-sufficient, needing nothing outside Himself to exist. He is the source of all truth, love, and peace, overflowing with light and life. He alone creates and sustains all things. He is the beginning and the end—the Alpha and the Omega.

We exist because this perfect God chose to create us to share in His glory. Our very being is rooted in His desire to express and extend that glory. Just as a tree naturally extends its branches, His boundless love overflowed—bringing us into existence.

God didn’t create man out of need—He lacks nothing. He is perfect, complete, and self-sufficient. He didn’t make us because He was lonely or missing something. He made us out of love—to share His goodness, His glory, and His eternal life with others.

Just as light naturally shines and a tree naturally bears fruit, God’s nature is to give, to create, and to love. Creating mankind was an expression of His overflowing love. He designed us uniquely—in His image—so we could know Him, reflect Him, and walk in relationship with Him.

God created man:

• To bear His image (Genesis 1:26–27) — reflecting His character, creativity, justice, love, and holiness.
• To enjoy relationship with Him — not as robots or puppets, but as children who choose Him freely.
• To glorify Him — by living in truth, love, and obedience, displaying His nature to all creation.
• To reign with Him — He gave mankind dominion over the earth, inviting us to steward and care for what He made.
• To become part of His eternal family — joined together in Christ, united in perfect love.

In short, God created man to love and be loved, to dwell with Him, to reflect His glory, and to be part of His everlasting plan.

We were made not just for something, but for Someone—God Himself.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
